Barbara Zaccone’s web and graphic design firm BZA LLC, recently designed and launch a new website for Robbie Hershon’s West Orange audiology practice, The Hearing Group. Barbara and Robbie have both been long term NJAWBO Essex members.
The Hearing Group wanted a website that had a clean fresh look, that was easy to navigate and that could be updated by their in-house staff. BZA designed the site that leverages their image with a color palette which is true to their brand. The site was built on the popular WordPress platform that allows The Hearing Group’s staff to quickly and easily update the website content include their news blog. BZA also provided the WordPress training for their staff.
As a result of the new website The Hearing Group is experiencing increased traffic to their website due to their improved position in search results for keyword phrases related to their practice.

Laurel Bernstein, President/ Executive Coach of Laurel Bernstein & Associates, a New Jersey based consulting and training firm focused on enhancing the performance and leadership skills of small business owners. She just did a workshop on Handling Change for the New Jersey Society for Human Resource Management.
Ms. Bernstein holds a B.A. in Science Education from Montclair State University and a Certificate in Professional Coaching from Baruch College, CUNY, Zicklin School of Business.
She is a member of the International Coach Foundation and has served as the president of various community initiatives.

Clients can hand off the tasks such as paying bills, organizing financial records, preparing for tax time, dealing with vendors on incorrect bills, managing medical claims, budgeting and much more. Her services are currently used by seniors, adult children of aging parents, busy professionals and people with physical or special needs.
Previously, Emily was an Assistant VP at BNP Paribas. She holds a B.A. in Mathematics from SUNY Binghamton and is a proud member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers.

The Hearing Group, located in West Orange NJ, just obtained the Axiom hearing aid fitting system from Audioscan. This computer fitting system helps to ensure that the hearing aid user is receiving the proper amount of amplification from their hearing aids. It is also a great patient educational and counseling tool allowing us to demonstrate the before and after effect of the use of hearing aids on one’s ability to hear speech and environmental sounds.
Holly Kaplansky was honored by the Rutgers-Newark Small Business Development Center at their October Dinner at the Cedar Hill Golf & Country Club in Livingston. Holly is the owner of Minuteman Press of Newark, a member of the RNSBDC Advisory Board, and past president of NJAWBO Essex.
